Today marks the second last day of Itty Bitty Bunch circa 2017! That makes us feel like celebrating by arranging and delivering flowers all day...in other words, every day is a celebration.

We've entered the last week before Christmas...and all through the land, the buying of gifts was mostly unplanned. Luckily, we've got you covered.

Some relatively famous people professed that all you need is love, which we completely agree with, as long as everyone's willing to bend the rules and include a love of food, of coffee and of course flowers.

With school finishing for most tomorrow, it really is the last chance this year to thank those teachers, aides and carers who look after the next generation of children.

It's gonna be a hot one today! Fortunately we've chosen some super hardy flowers that can easily withstand these warmer temperatures. We won't go as far as saying super-flowers but...

Only a few weeks until an overweight, bearded man is due to break and enter your house, steal your cookies, drink your milk and apparently knows everything about your children? When you look at it that way, let's skip traditions and give flowers instead.

Peony season certainly makes the trip to the markets at the crack of dawn a little nicer. Their short season just adds to their beauty and fragrance.

You'd be hard pressed to find anything both man-made or in nature that ticks the two boxes of beauty and fragrant quite like the Peony in full bloom. Lucky for you, our customer, you get to see the whole process play out!

We go to the markets EVERY morning rain, hail or...fog! Today's flowers are so fresh they might have to go live with their Auntie and Uncle in Bel Air. Gosh we hope someone gets that reference, it's so weird otherwise.

Studies have shown that giving flowers, above most other gifts, improves the mood of the recipient, not just at the moment of receiving but days after. They're officially and scientifically the best gift one can buy!

We've thrown flower budgets to the wind this morning with the appearance of two old favourites of ours! Peonies and Frilled Tulips...we just couldn't resist! 

What a perfect day to send flowers! Why is today any different, I hear you asking? It's not! Every day is perfect to send flowers, there's no time like the present and there's no present like flowers.

John Lennon wrote that love is the answer, and you know that for sure; Love is a flower, you've got to let it grow. He just forgot to mention that once it's grown it's best to cut them and give them with love, a small oversight.

There's someone in everyone's life right now to which a random flower surprise would completely turn their day, week and perhaps even month around. Who's your recipient?

There's a pungent whiff in the air this morning, a tangy odour, a pervasive fragrance. What is that? Ah...it's romance, the stench of romance. You too could be falling head over heels with this amorous bunch.

Well this morning was just a struggle at every step; getting out of bed in the cold, the traffic on the way to the markets, the line for coffee was too long. We just consider ourselves so fortunate to work with something beautiful which can turn it all right around. 

We see it quite often here...the anonymous send. We can't think of much nicer than a gift that makes people remember that there are so many people in their life that would possibly want to send them flowers. Who could use that today?

If we just followed what the media shows us, you could easily think the world is all terrible. It's so reassuring reading the messages on these bunches and realising that love still triumphs every single day.

Flowers are the most beautiful message bearer. Attach a message of hope, of love, of empathy or of friendship and the flowers transform those simple words.

We hope everyone had a lovely long weekend, celebrating the Queen's Birthday! While it can seem hard returning today, remember it's only four days to the weekend!

Some people call today Thursday, we prefer the term Friday Eve. You can just catch a faint whiff of the weekend! Get a bunch of goodies to celebrate!

What a brisk morning! The birds are chirping, the fog is hanging low and our breath is a faint whisp in the crisp air. There's a magical feeling to freezing winter mornings...or is that numbness, yup it's numbness.

A customer of ours wrote on their card, 'Every Sunrise is an invitation to brighten someone's day. I hope this brightens yours". She wasn't talking to us but that semtiment did brighten ours. :) 

Flowers have their own beautiful language and can speak volumes without saying a word. A brief message on a card is amplified tenfold by the flowers unspoken prose. 

There's not many things that can brighten a day like the validation and confidence boost of receiving flowers 'just because'. Not for a birthday, nor anniversary but just because you are you. Someone in your life needs that now!

Today's bunch draws inspiration from the magical deep pink, red and orange autumn leaves we are starting to see drop around Adelaide. Autumn is such a picture-perfect, beautiful time of the year.
 

After the complete craziness of Mother's Day, we're a little frazzled, looking 5 years older and super chuffed we could brighten so many days. So chuffed in fact, we're back to do it again today!

With Friday and Sunday now completely sold out, this may be the last chance to get some itty, bitty, flowery goodness to your Mum for Mother's Day! There's limited stock, no dilly dallying. 

"You're the greatest", "I'm sorry", "Thank you", "Just to brighten your day"... There's a million reasons to send flowers. You only need one! If you want a million, we're gonna need a little more lead time.

John Keats wrote "A thing of beauty is a joy forever: its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness". Well that's a pretty good selling point for flowers!

In this crazy, bustling, concrete jungle the majority of us choose to live in, isn't it lovely that flowers can colour a small fragment and return us to nature for just a fleeting moment.

Oh Friday you magical beast! You always give us a taste of the possibilities of the weekend ahead. Each and every one of those things, is made slightly better by flowers, even when it inevitably ends up with binge-eating and netflix.

Today is International Pay It Forward Day, a day where altruism and generosity collide spectacularly. It inspired our Wildcard Nomination system and we are huge fans! So what are you going to do today? Maybe buy a strangers' lunch? Donate some clothes? Clean up a public space? Send a gratitude email? It doesn't have to be much but the effect can be enormous. 

Is there a friend you haven't seen in a while? Someone that you've let 'life' come between? That one friend who you see after years and it's like only a day has passed? You should contact them for a catch up, email them, message on social media or even send them a bunch of these little beauties with a small note telling them it's been too long. What more important thing do you have on today?
